Extreme Makeover

A lot of you have probably heard by now that we were chosen for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition! It's so exciting and surreal - and we are still completely overwhelmed! :)

Our episode will air probably sometime in January and I will post the air date as soon as I know it - but as far as any details -- you'll just have to wait and watch on ABC!

Thank you to all who helped on this project -- our community is truly incredible! We have been so blessed by the outpouring of love and by our great God.

Hi there Kim,
My name is Shannon Dove and I was a part of the building of your home, more importantly my husband installed all the plumbing and he worked so very hard. He was in tears when your family arrived in the limo and its very rare that I see him cry. We have a cd of candid photos that are not staged for the ABC production. These photos are of the unselfish community members who poured their blood, sweat and tears into your family's home, not for tv's sake but out of love. At some point we would like to give the photos to you and meet your family once the "dust settles." We realize that things right now are very crazy however when the time is right email me.Coloradodove@msn.com My husband and I have been married 11 years and we too have two children Megan 10 and Scotty 6. Our children suffer from learning disablilitites and have ADD. We understand how challenging it can be. I work at Memorial hospital and can understand how difficult medical bills can strain a family. We as a family, are so proud of Scott, my husband, for the work he did on your home, all on donation. He was offered to the paid for the job and refused. He felt very honered to just be there. Its neet to think that we will be apart of your family even if its only when you take a shower, clean a dish or fill the fish tank in Kayla's room. I'm a scuba diver and was in love with her tank!! If you ever need help with the upkeep..I'd gladly assist. We have a freshwater tank and are in love with it! Anyway, Please know that we are so greatful for being a small part of the project and when your ready to see the photos let us know. With sincere love and the hope of many more God's Blessings, Shannon, Scott, Megan &Scotty Dove Our number is in the local phone book if you want to call. :-)

Hey Jeremy and Kim...
Scott sent me a link to your blog and told me your exciting news. I left a comment on your other blog too...I didn't even know where you guys were living anymore - I hate that we've lost touch.

I'll be praying for your family now that I know some of what is going on with you guys. Drop me a line sometime!
